This unique stone dolphin figurine is beautifully hand carved from natural Coral Stone, and contains numerous marine fossils, shells, minerals, and other organisms estimated to be over 65 million years old! These plants and animals dwelled in the shallow warm waters that covered parts of Asia during the Paleocene Epoch. During this period, movement occurred between the Indian and Asian plates causing them to collide. This process resulted in the rising of the ocean floor and the formation of the Himalayas.
